Valeri Glover’s Kick Colon Cancer
in the Butt Foundation
In July 2009, Valeri Glover was diagnosed with Colon Cancer at the age of 36. Luckily her cancer was found early and she is now cancer free. Valeri has chosen to turn this into a positive experience and in July 2010 founded the Valeri Glover’s Kick Colon Cancer in the Butt Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered in Texas.
The Valeri Glover’s Kick Colon Cancer in the Butt Foundation’s vision is to be the largest source of funding of colon cancer awareness and research in the nation. With colon cancer the 2nd cause of cancer deaths, we dedicate our foundation to finding a cure for colon cancer.
Our mission is to:
- Increase public awareness, especially for people under the age of 50, about colon cancer and its prevention.
- Educate the public about the importance of colon cancer screening and encourage early colon cancer screenings for all.
- Provide financial assistance for Texas adults under the age of 50 to help with medical costs associated with colon cancer.
- Fund cutting edge colon cancer research programs across the nation
- Partner with and support strategic partners in the fight against colon cancer
